OnClose, OnOpen or Outside-RTH Orders Exceeding 10% of Monthly Trading Volume (IBKR)

Post by thaterrormessage »

Dear Client,

Please be aware that as of June 1, 2022, your account may be charged fees for some of your trades.

OnClose, OnOpen and outside regular trading hours ("Outside-RTH") US-listed stock orders are free for IBKR Lite clients so long as the total monthly volume of shares executed in the Open auction, Close auction or Outside-RTH does not exceed 10% of an accounts' monthly US-listed stock trading volume.

At the end of each month, we will review total monthly US-listed stock trading volume for account U****9130. Any OnClose, OnOpen, or Outside-RTH volume exceeding (in the aggregate) 10% of the monthly US-listed stock trading volume for your account will be charged USD 0.005 per share.

Market orders placed prior to regular trading hours will be treated as Market OnOpen orders and count towards client threshold.
