Your Smart Plug Has Been Automatically Turned Off
You are receiving this email because we've automatically turned off your Emporia Smart Plug (TESLA) for your safety.

Your Emporia Smart Plug exceeded 11 Amps for more than 1 hour in the last 24 hours.

These plugs are rated for 10 Amps (1,200 Watts) continuous loads, 11 Amps (1,320 Watts) for up to 1 hour/day or 15 Amps (1,800 Watts) for up to 1 minute at a nominal 120V.

If the load on your Smart Plug is in excess of these ratings, we recommend using the Smart Plug on a different device, otherwise it will be turned off automatically to ensure the safety of you and your home.

If you are attempting to monitor a load greater than these Smart Plug ratings, we recommend that you take a look at our in-panel Energy Monitors.

Again, your safety is our main concern. If you have questions or concerns or if you would like to return your Smart Plug for a full refund, please contact Emporia Support.
